Is OnlineBooksOutlet legitimate?
A fair question to ask of any online shop in Pakistan. The verifiable answers:
- We have a physical shop you can walk into. Central Plaza Mall, Ground Floor, Shop No. 139, behind Gul Plaza, Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road, Preedy Quarters, Karachi 75600. It is listed on Google Maps.
- Cash on delivery on every order. You do not pay until the books are in your hands. That removes essentially all of the risk of ordering from us.
- 1,395 Google reviews on a profile whose contents we cannot control.
- A 7-day return policy if a book arrives damaged or is not as described.
- A real person on WhatsApp at 0332 1626626, 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday.
Not every review is five stars
Our average is 4.8, not 5.0, and our product ratings range from 4.6 to 5.0. Some orders arrive later than we would like, and occasionally a book is damaged in transit. When that happens we replace or refund it — that is what the 7-day return policy is for. A store with nothing but perfect reviews and no complaints is usually a store that filters them.

If you have ordered from us, you can leave a review on the product page itself after delivery, or on our Google or Facebook profiles. We respond to all of them, including the critical ones.

Are these reviews real?
The Google and Facebook reviews are hosted by those platforms and can be checked independently — we have no ability to edit or delete them. On-site product reviews are restricted to verified buyers who actually placed an order.
Why does the site show 390 reviews when Google shows 1,395?
Different things are being counted. The on-site figure counts reviews left on individual product pages. Google counts reviews of the business. Facebook counts page recommendations. All three are separate, and we do not add them together to inflate a headline number.
Can I see the shop in person?
Yes. We are in Central Plaza Mall on M.A. Jinnah Road in Karachi, and we were selling books there before we sold them online.
